Description
Carta Wallet is an NFC cold wallet in a slim card form factor that keeps your private keys securely offline. It uses enterprise-grade NFC chips from NXP Semiconductors to generate and store private keys directly on the card, ensuring they never touch an internet-connected device.
How It Works
- Tap to Initialize — Activate your Carta card by tapping it to any NFC-enabled phone.
- Tap to Sign — When you want to send crypto or interact with Web3, simply tap the card to your phone when prompted by the Carta App. The transaction is signed on the card itself.
- Two Cards Included — Each Carta set comes with 2 identical cards that work interchangeably as backup.
Security
- NXP Secure Element Chip — Enterprise-grade smart chip stores private keys offline on the card.
- No Batteries, No USB — The card is powered entirely by your phone's NFC field, eliminating battery failure and physical connection attack vectors.
- Serialized Anti-Theft Protection — Each card is serialized with a smart chip that prevents duplication.
- Card Freeze — If a card is lost, you can freeze it remotely from the app and get a replacement.
Supported Assets
- 10+ Blockchains including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and more
- 10,000+ Tokens & NFTs — Broad support for cryptocurrencies and digital collectibles
- WalletConnect — Connect to any Web3 dApp for DeFi, staking, swaps, and NFT trading
The Carta App
Available on iOS and Android, the Carta App acts as your interface for managing crypto, tracking token prices, swapping assets, and buying/selling crypto — all secured by tapping your card.
